Men's Cross Country - Mon, Oct. 2, 2017

The College of Lake County Men's team traveled to West Allis, Wisconsin to compete in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational on Saturday, September 30th.

The Lancer men placed 6th and just two points out of 5th place in the fifteen-team race. CLC, was led by freshman Jeremy Wallace who placed 8th in 27:19 over a challenging 8K course.

The other scorers for CLC were Michael Schonter who placed 25th in 28:23, Jeffrey Meverden 30th in 28:30, Cameron Detweiler who placed 38th in 28:53 and Frederick Mascorro 40th in 28:57.

Also competing were Tyler Glassman, Matthew Leyva and Oscar Arteaga.

Head Coach Colin noted, "After two months of training together, this team finally saw their potential. It looked like they were out there having fun, we'll get back to work on Monday and prepare for our final regular-season race."

Next up for the Lancer harriers is a visit to UW-Parkside next Saturday.
